Alex Lambie - CEO

Brockwell’s CEO is Edinburgh-based Alex Lambie, a highly respected business leader with more than 42 years of success working in the energy sector. Alex has held numerous board positions and has been leading the team at Brockwell since early 2016.

Iain Cockburn - CFO

CFO for Hargreaves Services Group for more than ten years, Iain helped co-found Brockwell Energy and has also been instrumental in delivering restoration at former mining sites abandoned at the liquidation of previous operators over the last 5 years.

Lord Jamie Lindsay - Non-Executive Director

Lord Lindsay is a member of the House of Lords EU Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs. Chairman of UKAS and BPI Pension Trustees Ltd, he is also Vice-President of the RSPB and the Trading Standards Institute, as well as chairman of the Moorland Forum, Scottish Rural Action Group and a trustee of The Prince’s Countryside Fund.

Rob Watson - Development Director

With more than 23 years in property, planning and development in a range of sectors, Rob has steered early stage development of energy from waste, renewable energy, and mineral extraction projects. He is working closely with Forestry Enterprise Scotland, the major landowner of our North Kyle wind energy project.

Paul Newman - Commercial Director

Paul helped establish the Energy team within Hargreaves that would become Brockwell and brings commercial acumen and financial structuring expertise around a range of projects. He has provided commercial leadership for the Earls Gate EfW project, particularly around structuring of grid and energy supply arrangements.

Neil Young - Technical Director

Neil joined Hargreaves as Head of Procurement and was promoted to Commercial and Operations Director to lead the strategic development of its services division. He was selected to join the Energy team in 2016 to take a leading role in the Earls Gate EPC, O&M and fuel procurement work streams. He has also led early development of reserve power projects across five sites.

David Surtees - Deputy Commercial Director

David joined Brockwell in 2015 and has expertise in despatch and financial modelling across a variety of technologies and trading strategies in energy. His financial modelling skills cover solar PV, onshore wind, energy from waste, reciprocating gas engines, OCGT and small-scale CCGT. He provides commercial and financial input to Brockwell across all sectors.

Toby Taylor - Project Development Manager

A highly experienced development manager, Toby brings more than 20 years of experience in energy and waste, including ten years in onshore wind development. He has been responsible for the delivery through planning of four onshore wind sites with a total capacity of over 100MW, managing all aspects of planning, including successful appeal processes.
