We are pleased to welcome Naz Grogan and Kurt Brook, who have recently joined the business in senior operational roles at two of Brockwell’s key operational assets.
Naz joined the business in November 2025 as General Manager at Earls Gate Energy Centre, bringing more than 25 years’ experience delivering high-performing, safety-critical infrastructure across the energy, waste and industrial sectors. Throughout her career, Naz has held senior and executive leadership roles with organisations including EDF Energy, SSE, Veolia, LondonEnergy and enfinium, where she has driven operational excellence, cultural transformation and sustainable performance.
Most recently, Naz served as Site Director at Saltend Chemicals Park, a major UK industrial hub, with accountability for operational delivery, regulatory compliance, infrastructure investment and stakeholder partnerships. She has also led the UK’s largest energy-from-waste facility and delivered significant operational transformation at flagship energy-from-waste and recycling sites. Naz is passionate about building collaborative teams, embedding strong safety cultures and fostering continuous improvement to deliver resilient, reliable operations that benefit people, communities and the energy systems they support.
Kurt joined Brockwell in January 2026 as Asset Manager at Westfield Energy Recovery Facility, bringing extensive experience across asset management, operations and engineering within safety-critical energy infrastructure. His expertise spans asset performance, operational assurance, regulatory compliance and long-term value optimisation, with a strong focus on safe, reliable and resilient operations across the full asset lifecycle.
Prior to joining Brockwell, Kurt served as Principal Operations Manager at a £320m energy-from-waste facility in North Yorkshire, capable of processing up to 320,000 tonnes of waste per annum. In this role, he led a team of more than 60 staff across three interdependent technologies, with responsibility for safety systems of work, operational consistency and performance reporting, achieving best-in-class standards recognised by a globally respected insurer. A qualified electrical engineer, Kurt also brings hands-on experience in fault-finding, maintenance and defect management on newly commissioned facilities, alongside more than 16 years’ experience as a Microsoft specialist supporting KPI-driven performance and executive decision-making through secure, automated systems.
Commenting on the appointments, Martin McCaffery, Managing Director of Brockwell Energy Services Limited, said:
Naz and Kurt each bring exceptional depth of experience in operating and managing complex, safety-critical energy assets. Their leadership, technical expertise and commitment to high standards will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen operational performance across our portfolio. We’re delighted to welcome them both to the Brockwell team.
