We’re thrilled to announce that North Kyle Wind Farm achieved its first export to the grid on 2 April 2025 - a major milestone in the project’s journey to full commercial operations.
After a full day of energisation, system switching, and final checks, Turbine 54 (T54) was brought into operation. Today, the site stepped up to nine turbines generating, marking a strong start to the next commissioning and testing phase.
This is a proud moment for the entire Brockwell team and our partners - a tangible step forward in bringing clean, homegrown energy to the UK grid. It reflects months of collaboration, dedication, and careful preparation across all workstreams.
There’s more to come as we move toward full operations, but today we’re taking a moment to celebrate this landmark achievement.
